Travel books!

Before I travelled to Oz, I bought a little book, I was supposed to draw and write down some ideas for movies,...

Well I forgot my drawing stuff.. So me. I had everything ready. I just forgot to put it in the backpack. 

Anyway it didn't take long to find me a pen. Although I didn't draw to much. I wrote down most of my adventures and anecdotes. I filled it with pictures and little drawings. As soon as I came into the Rubin family, I had colors and paint and paper and .... So then the real deal started.

My book was finished after 3 months. So my lovely family bought me a new one, it was one all about Melbourne. And I LOVE Melbourne! So it was a well appreciated gift. As soon as I got the book, I went to New Zealand. So this Melbourne book is full with New Zealand stories. They also gave me pens, and colors so this time I could draw and paint! 

As soon as I arrived back in Australia I had to buy myself a new one. I found this cute little shop in the middle of Sydney they sold this books with thick paper, 

This book has more drawings, since I had some extra time in bundy and not much to do.. 

So I got 3 full books in one year 😁 record! 

Wedding invitations

Since I'm back, people are asking me to do some small projects.
Shadee, a friend of mine was the first one to ask, she is getting married in Spring. So far i didn't have much time to do anything yet. I just did some random layouts. The details and backgrounds will be for this weekend

Photoshop °1

How much do I love Photoshop!
It's so cool, I used to make all my illustrations with Photoshop ( I must admit now, illustrator is much better for the work I do)
So the assigments were first to clean photo's, using the basic tools, we had to add people, delete people,.. As soon as we got to know the tools we got a bigger assigment.

We had to create a new student. Every students picture was taken and based on our own picture we had to create the new student we had to change the nose, eyes, mouth and clothes... this was so much fun.

The next assignment was to work with nets, symbols, brushes,… we had to copy a picture of a Palm glass.

Graphic Design first assignment

So I started to study again, after my master Animation. I’m doing a course for graphic designer in Antwerp.

Illustrator is a program I didn’t know too well, so by learning the basic tools we got this first (fun) assignments was to create two new characters based on the teachers one (the Frenchy). And ofcourse I LOVE character design!!!!! So I created an Italian Mafioso and an Indian lady
